As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to join our dynamic team.
Job Summary: As a Production Manager at Usibras Ghana Limited, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our production facility. Your primary focus will be to ensure the efficient and timely production of high-quality products while adhering to strict standards of safety, quality, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and technical skills to drive continuous improvement and maintain a positive working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Production Oversight:
- Lead and manage all aspects of the production process to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Implement and enforce best practices for production efficiency and quality control. 2. Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, including Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Food Safety regulations.
- Collaborate with relevant authorities to stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary adjustments.
- Team Leadership:

- Provide strong leadership to the production team, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance staff knowledge of safety protocols and quality standards.

- Resource Management:

- Optimize the use of resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure a smooth flow of materials for uninterrupted production.

- Quality Assurance:
- Implement and maintain robust quality control measures to guarantee the production of high-quality products.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Food Science and Technology/Mechanical
Engineering/Production and Operation Management or equivalent experience.

- Proven experience in a Production management role, preferably in Food processing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and Food Safety regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.
