African Cashew Alliance (ACA)
The African Cashew Alliance (ACA) is an association of African and international companies established in 2006. It works to promote a globally competitive African cashew industry. It brings together more than 130 member companies covering the entire value chain: producers, processors, traders, and international buyers. As part of strengthening its financial governance and improving the management of its international funding, ACA is recruiting a Head of the Finance Department for the project “Capacity Building and Knowledge Sharing for the Competitiveness of the African Cashew Sector,” financed by GIZ, the European Union (EU), and the MOVE Programme.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the ACA’s financial, accounting, and administrative management, including budget planning, monitoring donor funding, financial compliance, audit management, internal controls, and the preparation of financial reports. He or she will also assist in the preparation of funding proposals and the mobilization of grants.
REQUIRED PROFILE:
- Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Auditing, or Management Control, or any equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial management, mainly in an international organization, NGO, or donor-funded project.
- Good understanding of donor requirements (EU, GIZ, etc.).
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Proficiency in both French and English (written and spoken).
